The Blue Route is dedicated to the exploration of the depths, set in a scenario that faithfully recreates the natural habitats from the Mediterranean Sea to the Atlantic, Pacific, and Indian Oceans, all the way to the stunning and colorful coral reef of the Red Sea. Here reside the undisputed stars of the Cattolica Aquarium: the bull sharks and nurse sharks.
The Yellow Route invites reflection on biodiversity with special focuses on rare and threatened species, such as the Eastern small-clawed otter, the smallest in the world, and the dwarf caiman.
The Green Route is a window into the fascinating world of reptiles and amphibians, featuring snakes, chameleons, iguanas, geckos, and lizards.
The Purple Route hosts the educational exhibition "Giant Insects XXL Edition," a collection of over 70 3D models enlarged from 20 to 200 times to explore the beauty of anatomical details, colors, and functions of various parts of the insects'
bodies.
In addition, there is The World of Dinosaurs, an outdoor route dedicated to the great reptiles of prehistory that lived over 65 million years ago. At the end of the path, there is a large excavation area where children can dress as paleontologists and experience the excitement of uncovering fossils and artifacts.
