Acquario di Genova and street food in the old fry house

Under the arcades of Sottoripa, a few steps from the Aquarium, there is an old friggitoria that still works with an old coal stove and a wood oven.
The friggitoria, which will be officially listed in 2022 as one of Genoa's Historic Shops, has been in operation since 1890 and offers fried foods and other traditional Ligurian specialties in a setting that preserves the atmosphere of Genoa's past.

Pick up your take-away cone with: mixed fried fish, squid, shrimp, frisceu and panissa, to be eaten on the street, immersing yourself in the multiethnic atmosphere of the historic center, so expertly described by Fabrizio De André.
